A film festival entertaining the community while also helping local pet rescue organizations.
The Animalis Fabula Film Festival kicked off at the Blue Star Arts Complex Friday.
"The movies are from all over the world. They're of all different aspects.it's not about activism or about this. It's about trying to understand how we evolve and how we look at animals in films. And we have a filmmaker, we have many filmmakers here this weekend but one of ours traveled all the way from Nepal," said Tom McPhee, Executive Director of the World Animal Awareness Society.
Seven local nonprofit organizations will be benefitting from the event being held starting Friday into Sunday.

This is the kind of post where the discussion it generates deserves to be as rich as the content itself. Eggy Car is the kind of game where the conversations it generates between players are as enjoyable as the game itself.
Trying a virtual hairstyle feature feels so fun and creative 📸 It’s amazing how easily you can preview different looks before making any real change.
I appreciate how unblocked games keeps the focus on gameplay instead of distractions.
The subject matter here is handled with care and that care is visible in every section. The player experience at moto x3m is handled with the same care and it shows in every level.
I love that this film festival is supporting local pet organizations! It reminds me of when I helped organize a charity event for an animal shelter, and seeing how much it meant to the community was heartwarming. Also, speaking of games, during breaks we played the Slope game together—it was hilarious watching everyone get competitive! Definitely brings people together for a good cause. Great initiative you guys are doing here! 🐾
