Join us at Collective Care Fest ‘23 presented by All That Lies In Gray on Saturday, August 26 from 1pm-10pm at Brick at Blue Star! This dynamic all ages festival was born to honor the rich tapestry of lived experiences and will be filled with creatives, zines, live music, poetry, storytelling, workshops, a community mural, harm reduction resources, STI/HIV testing, and a repro market! Engage in empowering workshops where you can delve into the depths of intersectionality and thought-provoking discussions. Access harm reduction information, resources, and guidance for creating safer spaces. Additionally, visit the repro market, a space committed to reproductive justice. Contribute to the creation of a community mural, facilitated by local artist Cassidy Fritts, where festival-goers come together to reflect the power of collaboration and artistic expression. Listen to poetry readings from Ale Saenz, Lace Garcia, Yesenia De La Torre, and Cuppycake. Poetry segment will be hosted by Christopher “Rooster” Martinez. You will also have the have the opportunity to participate in Open Mic Poetry. Enjoy live music from Fea, Hacienda, Powdered Wig Machine, and Polly Anna as we celebrate the profound impact music can have on the well-being of community, allowing people to express, heal, and find solace through creative expression.
