About the event
Un Grito Gallery is pleased to present “Everywhere & Every Feel”, a series of two-dimensional work by Hector Barbosa. The solo exhibition will open Thursday, February 1st and Friday, February 2nd, 2024, from 7-10 pm with a closing reception held on February 15, 2024.
Hector Barbosa is a San Antonio based artist. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Texas at San Antonio and is currently an Art Educator for SAISD. He is an interdisciplinary artist that uses multiple mediums within two-dimensional space to blend personal experiences, religion, recurring locations, and the subconscious. “If you slow down and observe where you are, things start to look interesting. Your setting may be commonplace, but scenarios start playing in your head of what could happen in these locations (good or bad) and it can seem limitless. Everyday characters in these locations also become more intriguing.
