Un Grito Gallery is pleased to present "Fortune & Fables, Short Stories for Restless Souls” a solo exhibition of photographic works by Rebecca Dietz. This featured Fotoseptiembre event, will open Thursday, September 3rd and Friday, September 4th, 2026, from 7-10 pm with a closing reception held on September 17th, 2026.
“I search for moments of mysticism in ordinary environments, locations where time is displaced through juxtapositions of objects, unnatural light, or spatial dynamics. The camera is a device to trap time and bend light. Through the lens the world is transformed into mysterious spaces, lost fragments, or chance encounters. This “unknowing” of the known world creates images that linger between familiar and fictional, or dreaming and conscious states. The exhibit contains two short series.
