Saavedra’s paintings, drawings, and sculptures are guaranteed* to thicken every accent wall, complement any residential/commercial color scheme, and metaphorically raise the roof of FL!GHT this December.
An interdisciplinary artist (and 45-year overnight success), Ed Saavedra’s work has been particularized in the bestselling “Forget the Alamo: The Rise and Fall of an American Myth” (p. 271) and has infiltrated the permanent collections of the McNay Art Museum and the San Antonio Museum of Art. FL!GHT first exhibited his work in 2005 in a converted grain silo a quarter mile down river from its current location.
