About the event
Artist Talk will be at 7pm.
Roderick Ayers, a Master of woodworking and Art Historian, has been trying to show the detailed interior, and exterior of objects for the last 20 years. His latest work, is an ongoing series of ruined buildings depicting the aftermath of the Great Fire of London (1666). The gaping holes and torn away sections of these buildings, allow viewers to clearly see the scarred public exterior of these buildings. While also exploring the personal and equally ruined interiors.
Rebecca Coffey Artist Statement: Having graduated with a degree in English Literature, I have always had a fascination with story telling. My mind is populated with colorful characters engaged in the intrigues of their own magical worlds. My art tells their stories. I live here in San Antonio with my sweetheart, the accomplished Seth Camm, and our two tiny dogs. I have two adult children and a newly arrived grandson who is just the most miraculous creature in the world. I hope that you enjoy peeking into my story pictures and discovering the tales they have to share.
Show runs from October 6th - 30th.Â
Gallery Hours are Thursday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm
