About the event
Un Grito Gallery is pleased to present “Similarity of Opposites”, a collaborative ceramic project by Myrrh Bunch, Bob Jennings, Carmela Muguerza, Ron Osborn and Martha Wills. The exhibition will open Thursday, November 2nd and Friday, November 3rd, 2023, from 7-10 pm with a closing reception held on November 16th, 2023.
Statement:
The “Similarity of Opposites” Art project is designed to celebrate the diverse tapestry of human experience. By engaging participants from different generations, the project aims to unlock their wealth of wisdom and emotional depth. Utilizing colored clays as a medium, participants are encouraged to explore limitless forms and themes. Culminating in an exhibition that honors both process and product, the project seeks to shatter societal age-related stigmas, demonstrating the value of teamwork across generations and the endless creative potential inherent in all stages of life.
