Anthony Garcia is a San Antonio-based photographer fascinated with Chiaroscuro’s interplay between light and darkness. By playing with the balance of light and shadow, he seeks to capture that which dwells beneath the surface. Through collaboration and direction, he coaxes out what is not always visible to the naked eye, in what he can only refer to as a “Rock and Roll” aesthetic with dark tonalities, such as portraying women in power poses instead of a diminutive demeanor.
