About the event
Un Grito Gallery is proud to present “The Things We Carry - CAM Perennial Exhibition 2026” with selected artists Brenda Melgoza Ciardiello, Eva Gabriella Flynn, Jesselyn Gordon, Adrienne Simmons, Matt Rebholz, Daniela Oliver de Portillo, Tina Linville, and Yuliya Lanina, curated by CAM board members Casie Lomeli and Leslie Moody Castro. This show will open Thursday, March 5th, and Friday, March 6th, 2026, from 7-10 pm with a closing reception held on March 19th, 2026.
In celebration of its 40th anniversary year, Contemporary Art Month states, “The inclusion of multiple venues, two curators, and artists from many reaches of our region highlights a commitment to collaboration, dialogue, and honoring the multiplicity of perspectives that define contemporary art in Texas and beyond.” Since 2012, the organization has invited guest curators from outside of San Antonio to foster exchange between cities and raise the profile of San Antonio artists.
