Visual artist James W. Johnson was born in upstate New York and moved to Lubbock in 1978. Since then, he's devoted more than 90,000 hours to his creative output.
Lunatics in the Garden is a collection of Johnson's work owned by longtime friend Marynell Maloney, the late San Antonio attorney. It's been on display in France for the past 30 years.
An exhibition of Lunatics in the Garden opens this Friday at FL!GHT Gallery at the Blue Star Arts Complex, marking the first public display of this body of work in the United States.

Didn’t expect much but, this piece was actually worth reading.
Scrolling through, I was about to skip it, yet it held my attention.
I guess it’s the tone that doesn’t feel forced, which is something I don’t see often.
Random thought, I came across https://infowomenspace.com/ recently and it gave me a similar vibe, so idk really.
Anyway, well done — saving this for later.
I recently discovered a very useful mouse testing website that can check the condition of your mouse scroll wheel through scrolling tests. If you want to see whether your mouse is damaged, you can try Polling rate test
It's fantastic that San Antonio's FL!GHT Gallery is hosting the first U.S. display of "Lunatics in the Garden," bringing unique artistic visions to the forefront. This kind of bold exhibition acts as a powerful Gemini3 Prompt for engaging with new perspectives and stimulating cultural dialogue.
